Cloak & Dawggie is a Quaker Pet Group brand that features a collection of fun, casual, utilitarian and uniquely original apparel and accessories for pets and their owners. Cloak & Dawggie has won widespread attention throughout the pet industry for its innovation in soft harnesses and reflective walking harnesses.

Why Soft Harnesses?

Soft harnesses were originally invented for tiny breeds to relieve pressure on their necks when walking and prevent the tendency among small breeds for choking and collapsing of the trachea. Today, soft harnesses have become an industry standard for small breeds, particularly those with a tendency to pull.

Placement of D-rings allow you to even "pick up" the dog out of harms way when necessary, which has been particularly useful when walking in the city or on crowded sidewalks.

Soft harnesses have no clips or difficult components to adjust, but rather feature quick and simple Velcro® tabs for easy on and off - which is great for owners with arthritic fingers and older citizens with dexterity issues.

The Cloak & Dawggie Step-in-Go harnesses have a double D-ring safety closure for the persistent pullers, which helps keep the harness closed should the Velcro® tabs come undone.

Soft harnesses have been of increasing benefit to owners of small breeds - however, Cloak & Dawggie emphasizes that they are not guaranteed against untrained dogs and the particularly difficult walker! All dogs should be trained to walk properly on a leash and obey simple commands to ensure their safety and security.
